1.1. Managing Student ELL Accommodations

  1. Select a student in the PowerSchool Admin Portal
  2. Click "Student Profile"
  3. Click "ELL Accommodations"

Set the Parent/Guardian Communication Language

  1. Choose the Parent/Guardian Communication Language at the top of the screen.
  2. Click "Submit"

Attach a District-Level Accommodation to a Student

  1. Click "Attach Existing"
  2. Click the radio button next to the accommodation you wish to attach.
  3. Click "Show Descriptions" to view each accommodation's description.
  4. Click "Submit"

Delete an Existing Accommodation from a Student

  1. Click "Delete" on the row of the accommodation you wish to delete.
  2. Click "Confirm Delete"

Add a Custom Accommodation to a Student

  1. Click "Add Custom"
  2. Choose the appropriate Category
  3. Enter a Name
  4. Add a Hyperlink (optional)
  5. Add a Description (Optional. Limit: 4,000 characters.)
  6. Click "Submit"

Edit an Existing Custom Accommodation

  1. Click "Edit" on the row of the accommodation you wish to edit.
  2. Adjust the Category, Name, Link, or Description fields.
  3. Click "Submit"
